Provide an artwork proposal outlining:
1. Your inspiration; Who or what inspires you? How do they/ it inspire you? Demonstrate that you understand the difference between copying someone’s style and being inspired by someone’s style. You are required to bring your own inquiry to what you are creating.
2. Your concept for the artwork; for example, advocating for climate change, home and belonging, your cultural identity.
3. What do you plan to complete? For example; a drawing, painting, photograph, sculpture or mixed media work.
4. List the resources/ materials required to complete the artwork.
5. A brief time management plan.

For this assessment:
· Select one (1) of the following artists: Albert Namatjira, Emily Kame Kngwarreye, Frida Kahlo, Henri Matisse. Introduce the artist, what do you know about the artist that will engage young children (3-5 years)?
· Select three (3) of their artworks from an art gallery website that could be presented and discussed with young children (3-5 years).
Complete the below table for each artwork, including pictures of these artworks. For each of the artworks explain: when it was made; how it was made; what is the style of the work; and why was it created. Total of three (3) tables.

· Read Chalk & Dinham (2018), pp.114- 119. Following Table 5.1 on page 116, complete a table with your own questions for each of the three (3) artworks. Total of three (3) tables.

· Research any relevant educational tools/ resources that you could use in your visual arts program, for example see resources below: What will the children now create?
